Sunday Runs

As a free service to our clients, we schedule Sunday runs so you can run with other group members over some great courses. Runs are organised over a variety of distances for the first Sunday of the month. A great way to make those longer runs more interesting. For a run schedule, email info@hookedonhealth.com.au

October/November Sunday Runs 

As the official running training partner for the Bare Creek Trail Run, will be holding a run each Sunday for the  four weeks leading up to the run. Everyone is welcome, and the sessions are FREE. The sessions will be conducted by Hooked on Health Head Running Coach, Richard Sarkies.

Details for these FREE sessions are:

16th October: Lane Cove Natational Park: Meet carpark adjacent to Fullers Rd, 8am
23rd October: Bare Creek Trail Run Course: Meet Cnr Woodbury Rd and Athena Ave, St Ives, 8am
30th October: Roseville Park, Clanville Rd, Roseville (oval is also on Chelmsford Ave), 8am . Meet on oval, eastern side next to tennis courts.
6th November: Bare Creek Trail Run Course: Meet Cnr Woodbury Rd and Athena Ave, St Ives, 4pm

Please note
The sessions on the Bare Creek Trail Course will be on a bush track, over uneven and sometimes rocky surfaces. If you have any injuries or weaknesses such as (but not exclusively) those relating to knees and ankles, you should give careful consideration to the suitability of the track for your issues.

The run in Lane Cove National Park can be either on the trail or on the road. The road is shared by bikes, pedestrians and cars, and you need to be aware of other users at all times.

As the runs are starting at 8am (except for 6th Nov at 4pm) and the weather is bound to warm up sooner or later (I hope), you should ensure that you are sufficiently hydrated. This may mean taking water with you on the Bare Creek Trail runs.
