Online Distance Running Coaching

The feeling of finishing a fun run which you have really trained well for, be it your first 4km run, your first marathon, or your 51st Marathon, is a feeling which will stay with you for a very long time. Distance running training can be hard, and completing a distance running event "with a smile on your face" needs good preparation. Our online coaching service has been developed to help you to set and achieve realistic goals for your next distance running event.

Hooked on Running online distance running coaching, will not only provide you with a structured and challenging program designed especially for you, we will also be there to support, mentor and coach you every step of the way. This is not just another training programme you can find on the net.

We Coach You!

Our exclusive web-based facility will provide you with access to your online running training programme, anytime, anwhere you have internet access. 

Fill in your training log and your coach can be instantly notified of your training session outcomes. 

Be motivated knowing that your coach is monitoring your sessions, and is expecting you to log your workouts and training metrics. This will provide us with the information necessary to give you the support you need to stay motivated all the way through to your event.

Be confident in knowing your programme has been designed by someone who has many years of running eperience behind them, and importantly, many years of coaching experience too (both online and face to face).

Hooked on Running online training programmes are flexible. You and your coach communicate regularly regarding your training, allowing us to tweak your it when needed. We understand that most of us are not Olympians and need to fit running around work and family commitments, and that sometimes with the best will in the world, training sessions are not completed as scheduled.

We will reduce your risk of running injuries by designing a plan just for you. Your gradual progression over time, and consistency in training will help to reduce the risk of injury, and if you do feel pain, we are ready to put an action plan together.

Upload training data from a number of different training devices including Garmin, Nike and Polar models. See a full list of devices supported by our software.

Graph your workout data so that you and your coach can easily see how you are tracking over time. Data can be entered manually or uploaded from compatible training devices.

How It Works

We cater for beginners to advanced runners with our online distance running training programs.

Fill in the questionnaire which gives us details of your past running and training, and what level you are currently at with your running fitness. We'll also need to know how much time you have for training and when you can train so that we can plan your schedule around existing commitments.

Once we receive this information from you, we will invoice you with payment details.

You will receive your online training program within 2 working days of receipt of  payment. You will also receive instructions on how to use the training log.

Your coach will call you to run through the progam and set up an agreed time for your training log to be completed each week. It is important you keep this agreement so that your coach is able to track how you are doing. It's best to complete the log soon after you've completed your workout so that nothing gets missed.

You are able to contact your coach at anytime via email, and you will receive a weekly phone call to follow up on your training for the week.
